As a business, your page and posts on StoreDirect is open to all users who have customer accounts. This is to create more awareness of your store and increase your number of followers and hence customer base. Other businesses on StoreDirect cannot view your business’s page by using their business account. Except for your business name, none of the other required details entered when signing up (such as phone number and email address) will be viewable to any other users. You can always go to your business profile page, click on ‘view as customer’ and see how other users see your business page and what details they see. All other customer account users are able to follow your business as well as like, comment and share your posts to other social media platforms. This is done to give your business more exposure. You can choose to report abusive comments and our team will take the necessary action. As a business account user, you have the option to enable/disable the direct messaging feature. You also have the option to delete any of your posts at any time. Other users cannot see your followers. Only you can view your list of followers.

As a customer, the only information on your profile that is visible are your full name that you enter on sign up as well as your profile picture, if you choose to upload one. These two bits of information will only be shown to businesses that you choose to follow. It may also be seen by other users if you choose to comment on a business’ post. All other information that you enter on sign up, such as your email address, location and mobile number will not be shown to any other user of the app unless you specifically share it with them in your own capacity. No other user of StoreDirect will be able to see which businesses you choose to follow. The businesses you choose to follow will be able to see when you like and comment on their posts. You have the option to report any abusive or wrongful content/posts by businesses and our team will take the necessary action.
