StoreDirect Policy

By using StoreDirect, you agree to abide by and accept, at all times, the following standards that govern user conduct on StoreDirect:

  We do not allow the presence of any user/posts/accounts that initiates, incites, encourages or is involved in human trafficking, violence, threats that could result in fatality, criminal activity, hate speech and other such activity that goes against The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996
• 
  Do not post content that initiates, incites or encourages harm against people, animals and property
• 
  Do not post content that is misleading, deceptive, false and/or fraudulent
• 
  Do not post content regarding the sale of unregulated goods such as non-medical drugs, endangered species, human blood, firearms or any other goods that require licenses and regulations, unless you have the required licenses and regulations to do so
• 
  Do not repeatedly contact/comment/message another user of StoreDirect in a way that is unwanted, sexually harassing, or infringes upon another user’s rights as per The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996
• 
  Do not post content that constitutes, facilitates or promotes illegal products, services or activities
• 
  Any content must not discriminate or encourage discrimination against people on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, family status, genetic or medical condition, sex, age, sexual orientation, nationality and color
• 
  Any content must not promote the sale or use of illegal or recreational drugs as well as unsafe supplements, as determined by StoreDirect in its sole discretion
• 
  Any content must not promote the sale or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• 
  Any content must not include adult content which includes nudity, depictions of people in suggestive positions, or activities that are overly suggestive or sexually provocative
• 
  Any content must not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property
• 
  Any content must not contain profanity or use of bad language
• 
  Any content must not promote or encourage products, services, schemes or offers that relate to deceptive or misleading practices, such as scams that take peoples’ money or personal information
• 
  Protection of data must be adhered at all times and in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Disclaimer

By agreeing to create a business account and fully register on StoreDirect, you accept that under no circumstances will a refund of the once off payment be made.

By using StoreDirect in any capacity, you accept that both StoreDirect and its holding company, KTK AppVision Pty Ltd, accept no responsibility and will not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience, harm, false portrayals, misleading information, fraud, negligence or any other wrongful action against you that is conducted by any other user or third party of the StoreDirect app. This includes ad content by third parties.

By using StoreDirect, you agree to our standards listed in the StoreDirect Policy above and accept that any breach of these standards can result in your posts being removed and/or you being blocked from the app with no refund of any once off payment that you made. You also agree and accept that the determination of any such breach is left up to the sole discretion of StoreDirect in its own right. If you have a business account, you agree that the once off payment made when registering the business account will not be refunded in the event that the said account is blocked from usage of the StoreDirect app, or any posts of the account removed, as a result of breaching the standards set out in the StoreDirect Policy. You agree that any ads that you choose to promote on the app is subject to review and may not be approved if it goes against the standards set out in the StoreDirect Policy. You further agree that such ads may also be taken down by StoreDirect, with no refund whatsoever of the amount paid to promote the ad/s, only in the event where the stated ad/s goes against the standards set out in the StoreDirect Policy.

Data Policy

We collect the data you enter when creating your StoreDirect account. We also collect data about your actions on the app, such as the posts you like, the businesses you follow, the content you post, the messages you send on the app, the comments you write on posts as well as any changes you make to your profile. All of the above collected data is used to enhance your experience on the StoreDirect app by showing content that is relevant to you and your interests as well as providing you with the tools to best meet your needs on the app. We use location related information such as the location entered on sign up as well as your devices live location to show you stores that are relevant and near you. All information and data collected is used to develop, test and improve StoreDirect. It is further used to strengthen your safety and security on the app by verification of accounts, detection and prevention of wrongful actions and removal of harmful content. We use the information you have provided us with to communicate with you, to inform you of certain changes as well as to respond to you when you contact us.

As the owner of this website, StoreDirect wishes to advise and confirm that by accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read all of the privacy terms and the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) disclaimer wherein you understand and agree that all information provided, whether personal or otherwise, may be used and processed by StoreDirect and such use may include placing such information in the public domain.

Further, by continuing to access this website and the StoreDirect app, you specifically agree that StoreDirect will use such information provided by you, irrespective of the nature of such information. However, StoreDirect will use its best endeavors and take all reasonable precautions to ensure that any information provided, is only used for the purposes it has been provided.

Please note that by submitting information via this website or on the StoreDirect app, you consent to the collection, collation, processing, and storing of such information and the use and disclosure of such information in accordance with this policy.
